Content Filtering Example:

How Content Filtering Works
1. Users request access to websites outside of the protected network.

When browsing the Internet, users request to access approved (1a) or unproductive, inappropriate (1b) websites.

2. Traffic is allowed and denied as defined by the organization's Internet access policy.

The Web Filtering service checks and sorts requests by allowing access to approved websites and blocking access to restricted websites.
