GTA Announces GNAT Box System Software Patch Release 3.4.3
Orlando, FL - April 12, 2004 - Global Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) released GNAT Box System Software version 3.4 patch level 3 (ver. 3.4.3) on April 12, 2004. This OS patch release addresses several issues that have been identified since the release of version 3.4.2, and is targeted for customers with legacy products which are not supported in version 3.5.x., such as GB-1000, RoBoX, GB-Flash and GB-Pro firewall products.
The primary issues addressed in version 3.4.3 include updating OpenSSL to version 0.9.7d to close potential Denial of Service vulnerability, and resolving an issue with SNMP functionalities. Full release notes may be reviewed by visiting our website at www.gta.com.
GNAT Box System Software version 3.4 patch level 3 will be available for download through the GTA on-line support center beginning on April 12, 2004. Customers whose firewalls are currently registered through GTA's on-line support center and have version 3.4.x or a current support contract, may download the latest update at no charge. Other customers should contact GTA sales or their authorized GTA channel partner for purchase options for the version 3.4.3 upgrade.
